Who We Are
Volunteers from within the City Of Kingston Upon Hull
Due to the local cat rescues being overwhelmed by demand because of the Cat Crisis, which is affecting the entire country, a group of Animal Welfare enthusiasts decided to pool our experience, knowledge and passion and create a scheme aimed at assisting the local rescues. The original aim was to neuter as many feral colonies as possible and help with strays that were often the result of abandonment but we also assist with emergency situations, where we can. The Scheme will continue to evolve according to necessity as we try to make a difference for the cats of our city.
TNR Trap Neuter Release
Why do cats need to be neutered/Spayed?
Overpopulation: The streets are full of cats that have been abandoned, have strayed or have been born on them. The Cat Rescues can't cope with the number needing help.
Health: Unneutered males often sustain injuries due to fighting and are at great risk of contracting FIV or FeLV
Pregnancies: Giving birth on the streets can prove to be highly dangerous for both the mother and kittens. They have no protection and can become food for predators
Need Immediate Help?
We do not operate by standard operating hours as we are only available when working and home lives allow. We do, however, try to attend any, and all, emergency situations as we will never knowingly leave a cat in harm's way.
If you are aware of a cat that has been injured or is in imminent danger then please contact us via Facebook and we will respond as soon as possible. The mobile number is only to be used in extreme circumstances as it is not regularly monitored.
